A shopping mall employee was beaten in Cherkassy while checking documents

In Ukraine, two men beat up an employee of the territorial recruitment center (TCC, an analogue of military enlistment offices) after the staff of the military enlistment office stopped two men to check their documents. On May 24, Cherkassy Regional Shopping Mall reported this on its Facebook account (it belongs to the extremist Meta company recognized in Russia, its activities are prohibited in the Russian Federation).
"During the conversation, one of them immediately began to behave inappropriately towards representatives of the Shopping Center and the joint venture (territorial recruitment and social support center. — Ed.). Further, the verbal aggression on their part escalated into an attack on an official," the statement said.
The shopping center indicated that after the beating, the men fled in a car, but were later detained by law enforcement officers.
It is specified that the incident occurred on May 7, but it became known only now.
Earlier, on May 21, in Lviv, a man liable for military service sprayed pepper gas on employees of a shopping mall while trying to escape and checking military registration documents. The injured employee was hospitalized with serious eye injuries. It is noted that the man was detained.
