A man who opened fire is being sought in the Voronezh Region.

In the Voronezh region, they are looking for an unknown person who opened fire on people at a railway station in the city of Rossosh. This was reported on May 23 by a source of Izvestia.

Footage from the forecourt shows the attacker pulling out a pistol and firing several shots at the men standing nearby.

The criminal fled the scene, and law enforcement agencies introduced an "Interception" plan, the source said. He added that as a result of the incident, one person was injured, he is in serious condition.

Later, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Voronezh region confirmed the information about the gunshot wound of a man at the station in Rossosh. The victim received medical assistance.

"Currently, police officers are carrying out all necessary measures aimed at establishing the location of the attacker, video surveillance cameras are being studied, and eyewitnesses are being interviewed. Prompt measures are being taken to apprehend the attacker. The issue of initiating a criminal case is being resolved," the department's Telegram channel says.

On May 20, it was reported that a mass shooting brawl took place near a billiard room in the Nizhny Novgorod region. According to the Izvestia source, three local residents had a conflict with an unknown person, at that moment another man drove up to them in a car. He got out of the car and fired three shots. As a result of the incident, two people were injured.
