At least eight people have been injured in a knife attack at Hamburg's main train station. This was reported by the BILD newspaper on May 23, citing the police.

According to the newspaper, law enforcement officers have already arrested the suspect. At the same time, the motive of the crime remains unknown.

It is specified that eight people were injured in the attack, some of whom are in serious condition.

According to the NDR TV channel, the number of victims increased to 12, three of them were seriously injured. The incident occurred at 18:05 (19:05 Moscow time).
