In the Chelyabinsk region, the contract murder of a daughter by a mother was prevented

In the Chelyabinsk region, a local woman was detained who is suspected of ordering the murder of her 12-year-old daughter due to a conflict relationship with a teenager. This was announced on May 23 by the investigative department of the Regional Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia in the Telegram channel.

According to the investigation, on April 16 of this year, a 46-year-old woman in the Izmailovsky settlement of the Kizilsky district incited, through persuasion and bribery, an acquaintance to commit murder for hire of her minor daughter by drowning in a river. However, after that, an acquaintance of the suspect contacted the police.

The ministry clarified that a criminal case has been opened against the defendant under Part 4 of Article 33, paragraphs "b" and paragraph "h" of Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Incitement to commit murder of a minor for selfish motives").

An investigation is currently underway to determine the causes of the incident.

Earlier, on April 9, in St. Petersburg, two local residents were detained for organizing a contract killing for the sake of an apartment. It was clarified that the defendants decided to order the murder of male and female acquaintances, whom they disliked, in order to take over their money and apartment.
