Partly cloudy, with occasional rain in some places, and thunderstorms in some places in the region — this weather awaits residents of the capital region on Friday, May 23. The corresponding forecast is published on the website of the Hydrometeorological Center.

The air temperature in Moscow will range from +24 to +26 degrees during the day. At night, the thermometer will drop to +11.

In the Moscow region, it will be from +21 to +26 degrees during the day, and at night the temperature may drop to +8.

Southerly and southeasterly winds with a speed of 4-10 m/s are expected.

The atmospheric pressure will be 750-752 mmHg.

Anatoly Tsygankov, head of the Russian Hydrometeorological Service's Crisis Management Department, said on May 22 that hot spells were predicted in regions traditionally prone to this, but it was impossible to talk about a unified temperature picture for the whole of Russia. According to him, abnormal heat is expected in the southern regions of the Urals, including Chelyabinsk and Kurgan, as well as in the southern part of the Siberian Federal District.
