The Izvestia project was among the nominees for the IV National Internet Content Award.

The nominees for the upcoming IV National Internet Content Award of Iran were announced in Moscow on May 22. Alexey Goreslavsky, Director General of the Internet Development Institute, Chairman of the IRI Production Council and the award jury, NTV General producer Timur Weinstein, director of the ceremony Georgy Dolmazyan, Russian singer Anet Sai and theater and film actor Pavel Derevyanko spoke at the event.

The speakers revealed 75 shortlisted participants in various categories, and also noted the changes that have occurred in the field of Internet content over the past year.

Thus, the share of documentary, family and children's projects has increased significantly.

"Everyone is now looking for projects that will be interesting to children. I believe, for example, that in order for a project to become a hit, any project — on television, on the Internet, in a movie — should appeal to children. Because they will force parents to watch, to go with them," the organizers of the award noted.

There are also many educational initiatives related to the topic of fraud, security and national pride in Russia.

Among the contenders in the nomination "Special project in online media" is the thematic project "Izvestia" - "Different.Their own", which tells about the traditions, peculiarities of the languages and the history of the peoples of our country. Also included in the shortlist in the nomination "Game series over 30 minutes" is the REN TV series "Operation Carpathians".

The concept of the IV prize is "Born twice".

"In my understanding, "born twice" means born physically once, and born online the second time," said Alexey Goreslavsky.

The main topics, according to the speakers, were life's journey and the responsibility that comes with age. The award is given not just for the best, but for socially significant content, the experts recalled.

The award ceremony of Russia's main industrial award for creators of socially significant Internet content will be held on June 5 at the Mosfilm Cinema and Concert complex. At the end of May, the Expert Council will determine the winners in 15 main categories: a game series up to 30 minutes, a game series over 30 minutes, a documentary and short film project, videos up to three minutes, a vertical format project, animated and viral content, a podcast, a music track, a blog, a Telegram channel, and a special project in online media.. In addition to the categories in which voting is taking place, some special nominations will also be announced in the award, awarded by the decision of the jury.
