Forecaster denied forecasts of an abnormally hot summer in Russia

There will be no abnormally hot summer in Russia, the air temperature is forecast to be 1-2 degrees warmer than normal. This was announced on May 22 by Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist at the Phobos Weather Center.

He noted that the meteorological summer has begun in Moscow — this is when the average daily temperature is kept above +15 degrees. According to the expert, it is expected to reach +25 on the weekend...+28 degrees, it will also be unseasonably warm next week.

"About the upcoming incredibly hot summer. This is nonsense! The summer season on the Russian Plain is expected to be 1-2 degrees warmer than normal on average, with a slight precipitation deficit of 10-20%," Tishkovets wrote on his Telegram channel.
