Forecasters predicted summer weather over the weekend in Moscow
On the weekend of May 24 and 25, Muscovites expect mostly clear weather without precipitation. The air temperature will reach +26 degrees during the day. This was reported to Izvestia on May 23 by Yandex Weather analysts.
According to them, on Saturday, May 24, it will be clear in Moscow, without precipitation. Gusts of moderate south-easterly wind will reach up to 5 m/s. In the morning, the temperature will be +21 degrees, in the afternoon it will remain at +25...+26 degrees, and by nightfall it will drop to morning values.
"In cities near Moscow, such as Odintsovo, Podolsk, Lyubertsy, Vidnoye and Domodedovo, the temperature during the day will be about + 24 degrees," the forecasters said.
On Sunday, May 25, the weather in Moscow will be mostly cloudy, precipitation is not expected. The temperature in the morning will be +19...+20 degrees, in the afternoon it will rise to +25...+28 degrees, and at night it will remain at +18...+19 degrees. Moderate winds are also expected, with gusts reaching 5 m/s in the afternoon. In the central districts of the capital (Tverskaya, Arbat, Tagansky, Yakimanka), the temperature will be 1 degree higher throughout the day than in other parts of the city.
"In the Moscow region, conditions will remain similar to those in the capital: no precipitation is expected, and the temperature will be at the Moscow level or a maximum of 1 degree lower," Yandex Weather added.
Earlier, on May 20, Alexander Vasilyevich Shuvalov, head of the Meteo forecasting center, forecaster, meteorologist, and climatologist, told Izvestia that a 30-degree heat wave was expected in Moscow in the last days of May. At the same time, the meteorologist noted that the heat may also seize the first days of June, but it is still difficult to make accurate forecasts — these processes are at the limit of predictability.
