Klychkov announced the restriction of mobile operation in the Orel region

Due to the threat of drone attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), mobile Internet and communications have been restricted in the Orel region. This was announced on May 22 by the governor of the region Andrey Klychkov.
"The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have decided to impose temporary restrictions on the operation of the mobile Internet and the provision of communication services in the region. It's not an easy decision, but it's necessary," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
The head of the region noted that the introduction of such measures is necessary to ensure the safety of residents, businesses and infrastructure facilities. Klychkov stressed that access to communication services will be restored after the operational situation allows it.
A temporary shutdown of the mobile Internet occurred on May 21 in the Vladimir and Tula regions. It is clarified that the reason for this in both areas was the potential threat of attacks by Ukrainian drones.
