In Lviv, a man liable for military service sprayed pepper gas on employees of the shopping mall (territorial recruitment center, the Ukrainian equivalent of the military enlistment office) while trying to escape and checking military registration documents. This was reported on May 21 in the press service of the regional shopping mall.
"Today, at about 10:00, military personnel of one of the Lviv RTCC and JV, together with police representatives, carried out alerts to military-liable citizens <... > A citizen, upon request to provide military registration documents for verification, began to run away. When they almost caught up with him, the man abruptly turned around and sprayed pepper gas," the Telegram channel says.
It is specified that the injured employee was hospitalized with serious eye injuries. It is noted that the man was detained. The attacker turned out to be a citizen of Ukraine, who is wanted.
Measures are currently being taken to initiate a criminal case.
Earlier that day, a Ukrainian citizen in Odessa climbed a tree, fleeing from the staff of the shopping mall. He was also able to be removed from the tree six hours later. It is specified that after the incident, the man was taken to the military enlistment office.
