- Russians talked about the reasons for using neural networks in their studies and work

Among the Russians surveyed, 60% have a positive attitude towards the use of neural networks in their studies and work. This is stated in the results of a survey of the RuStore app store and Mail, which were reviewed by Izvestia on May 22.
Among those who interact with neural networks, the most popular scenario turned out to be the search for answers to questions — two thirds of users (66%) chose this option. Media file generation (15%), writing texts on demand (10%) and retelling information (7%) are also in demand. Respondents most often use neural networks through websites (48%), built-in functions in services (27%) and chatbots (16%). Only 9% download individual apps.
Half of users are ready to consume content created by artificial intelligence: 56% of respondents said they would watch a movie with interest or play a game made by a neural network. This indicates an increase in confidence in such technologies in everyday life.
"Among Mail users, email summarization and text generation remain one of the most popular scenarios for using neural networks. AI integration saves time and makes daily work with mail more efficient and convenient," said Dmitry Merkushov, Head of Machine Learning at Mail.
In turn, Oleg Afanasyev, RuStore's product director, added that applications with neural networks are gaining popularity — the number of AI-related search queries has increased 1.5 times.
Earlier, on March 6, it was reported that the majority of creative specialists surveyed actively use neural networks in their work. At the same time, 43% of respondents use them on a regular basis, according to the results of a study by the Moscow Creative Industries Agency and MTS AI. Artists, designers, representatives of the advertising and fashion industries most often use AI to generate ideas and new concepts.
