Every third Russian court uses artificial intelligence (AI) in its daily work. Viktor Momotov, Chairman of the Council of Judges, said this at a meeting in Moscow on Tuesday, May 20.

According to him, new technologies have been introduced into the practice of 35% of ships. AI is most actively used in instances in Moscow and the Moscow region.

Momotov noted in an interview with Lenta.Ru It is known that in the courts of Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, Vladimir and Irkutsk regions, court records are compiled using AI by recognizing human speech and translating it into text format.

The Komi Supreme Court has implemented AI in the search for regulatory legal acts to regulate legal relations. The Vologda Regional Court uses technology to prepare draft court orders, analyze documents and summarize their contents, compare the contents of two documents, and draft a court decision.

In the Amur region, AI technologies are used in the framework of judicial proceedings in cases of administrative offenses.

Earlier in the day, the head of the Central Bank of Russia, Elvira Nabiullina, said that AI has great potential, but the possibilities of using neural networks in the field of macroeconomic analysis and forecasting, RT reports.

The head of the Central Bank noted that the regulator is already using artificial intelligence when dealing with complaints from citizens, IA Regnum reports. At the same time, Nabiullina stressed that AI will not be able to replace people in the field of key rate decisions, NSN reports.
