The Russian-built Sollers minivan may go on sale in the summer


The Sollers SP7 minivan, which is a rebranded Chinese JAC Refine RF8, may appear at dealers of the brand this summer. Previously, it was planned to enter the market in the fall, but the localization project of the model is ahead of schedule. Motor.ru with reference to the company's representatives.
The production of Sollers SP7 should be established in Yelabuga on the same line with SF1 vans and the Atlant family. At the start of sales, one package is expected with a two-liter gasoline turbo engine (224 hp), a classic 8-speed automatic and front-wheel drive. The length of the minivan is 5200 mm, width — 1880 mm, height — 1830 mm. The total weight of the car is 2,600 kg.
The salon has seven seats, and in the second row there are "captain's" chairs with electric drive, massage and ventilation. The list of options includes two sunroofs, all-round cameras, keyless entry and six airbags.
According to the source, the price of Sollers SP7 starts from 5 million rubles. On the way to the start of sales, the novelty fell in price — in February, Nikolai Sobolev, CEO of the domestic holding company, announced the starting price at 5.5 million rubles. It is noted that currently the most affordable offer in the segment of minivans with an emphasis on premium in the Russian market is the GAC M8 at a price starting from 5.5 million rubles.
On April 24, it was reported that the first all-metal Sollers SF1 van rolled off the assembly line at the Yelabuga automobile plant. The new compact van is equipped with a 1.5-liter gasoline turbo engine with a capacity of 136 hp combined with a five-speed manual transmission.
On March 20, it became known that Sollers intends to start selling a new SUV in early 2026. It is planned to invest more than 4 billion rubles in the launch of the project.
