A teenager shot a woman with a rocket launcher on a train in the Moscow region. This was reported by MIA Media on May 19.

It is specified that the incident occurred in an electric train carriage on the section between Voronok and Valentinovka stations. The young man, acting out of hooligan motives, shot at the passenger from a device similar to a signal pistol, and then fled the scene.

According to MIA Media, the victim was taken to the hospital with burns to various parts of her body.

"During the operational search activities, the officers identified the attacker and detained him. The weapon of the crime was seized, and the teenager himself, accompanied by a legal representative, was taken to the duty station of the line unit," the department's Telegram channel says.

A criminal case has been opened against the young man under Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Hooliganism"). The suspect was detained.
