- The Indian Ambassador to the Russian Federation spoke about the expansion of air traffic

Russia and India are discussing increasing the number of direct flights, Vinay Kumar, Ambassador to the Russian Federation, told Izvestia in response to a question.
"Yes, we are dealing with this issue. The government has no restrictions on the number of destinations and flights on a specific route. Rather, it depends on the capabilities of the airlines. We need to improve transport links. Currently, there is only one flight between Moscow and Delhi. It is necessary to increase their number," Kumar said.
India is also considering accepting cards from the Russian Mir payment system.
