Military-technical cooperation between India and Russia will develop, Vinay Kumar, Ambassador to the Russian Federation, told Izvestia.

"Our relationship has even deepened recently. We not only buy and sell military equipment, but also engage in the joint development and production of defense products. Equipment manufactured in India, including BraMos (supersonic anti-ship missile of joint Russian-Indian production. — Ed.), has repeatedly proved its effectiveness, including in the period from 7 to 10 May. Therefore, I believe that our relations in this area will only develop," the ambassador said.

The parties regularly communicate across the entire spectrum of military and military-technical cooperation, he stressed.
