The Ukrainian tried to escape from mobilization to Slovakia on a monowheel

A man in Ukraine, in an attempt to avoid mobilization, tried to leave the country for Slovakia and cross the border on a monowheel. This was announced on May 17 by the State Border Service of Ukraine.

According to the plan, he put on ordinary clothes so as not to attract attention, and drove to the border along a field road without belongings. Pretending that he was just poisoned for a "walk" around the outskirts of Uzhgorod. However, closer to the border, the movement of the object on the monowheel caught the camera.

"There were 300 meters left to the state border when the man was stopped by a border patrol. The violator was taken to the unit. After establishing all the circumstances, he will be brought to justice," the press service of the Ukrainian department said on the Telegram channel.

Verkhovna Rada deputy Georgy Mazurashu said on the YouTube channel "Superposition" on May 14 that the Ukrainian authorities, by closing the borders to leave the country, demonstrate their attitude towards citizens as slaves. The deputy drew attention to the negative reaction of Ukrainians to forced mobilization, which, in his opinion, is one of the reasons for the flight of men of military age from the country and their refusal of official employment.

On April 21, Verkhovna Rada deputy Nina Yuzhanina said that amid catastrophic losses and desertion, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) urgently need to step up mobilization. However, she did not specify how the mobilization process would be intensified.
