The average price of a new Russian car in April 2025 reached 1.48 million rubles, which is 54.8% more than in February 2022. This was announced on May 15 in its Telegram channel by the National Agency for Industrial Information (NAPI), which analyzed prices for Lada and UAZ models.

So, in February 2022, the average price of a new domestic car was 0.96 million rubles, by April 2023 it had decreased by 2.3% to 0.93 million rubles. A year later, the price was already 1.33 million rubles (+42.4%), and by April 2025 it had increased to 1.48 million rubles (+11.7%).

A slight decrease in the average price in April 2023 was due to the fact that after the cessation of supplies of components from unfriendly countries, simple cars were produced without previously familiar options, analysts noted.

The average price for a used Russian car no older than 20 years in April 2025 was 0.6 million rubles, which is 26.1% more than in February 2022. At the same time, in April 2024, this figure was 0.61 million rubles, and in April 2023 - 0.52 million rubles.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that the prices of car spare parts for common brands in Russia have risen in price by 15-25% over the year. According to Tatiana Ovchinnikova, director of the international car service network Fit Service, body parts for most car brands (except Lada) have become more difficult to buy: there are fewer options, delivery times have increased, and the cost has increased. As a result, prices for used spare parts from this group have increased significantly.

Yesterday, Alexey Podshchekoldin, president of the Russian Automobile Dealers Association (ROAD), said that prices for new cars in Russia could rise in the fall of 2025.
