A man who attacked a hockey player with a knife in the Moscow region was sentenced to three years and six months in prison in a general regime colony. This was reported on May 14 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.

It is specified that the incident occurred in November 2024. A young man attacked an athlete with a knife in the Moscow suburb of Barvikha. The reason for the conflict was that the victim reprimanded him for shouting loudly and swearing in the yard.

It is noted that the prosecutor requested seven years in a high-security penal colony for the defendant.

On April 23, it became known that in the village of Shemetovo, a man attacked a police officer with a knife. It was noted that police officers approached the man, showed their identification cards and asked the man to produce identification documents. As a result, he was rude and stabbed one of the employees several times, after which he disappeared.
