Calculations of BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) of the Airborne Troops of the Russian Army destroyed a cluster of infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Sumy region. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on Wednesday, May 14, showed footage of the gunners' combat work.

The concentration of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the forest area was discovered during reconnaissance. The coordinates of the enemy infantry's location were promptly transmitted to the Russian gunners. The BM-21 Grad MLRS crew moved into a firing position and destroyed the target in a short time with an accurate strike.

The BM-21 Grad MLRS has 40 unguided missiles in its arsenal. We are working on the enemy, both hidden and openly located, at points of temporary deployment. We work very often, and the Kursk area is particularly intensive. We are motivated, we have the highest motivation to knock the enemy off our land, and every day we make the Ukrainian army a little smaller," commented the commander of the jet platoon with the call sign Gaus.

He stressed that it takes no more than two minutes to deploy upon arrival at the firing position. The military personnel work quickly and smoothly, destroying any target in the shortest possible time: pickups, artillery, personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"The coherence of actions is due to the combat experience that every serviceman who works on this machine has. A huge number of joint trips, a huge amount of work done together, completed combat missions — they bring the team together, and we understand each other without words. Everyone knows what they need to do in order to complete the task as quickly as possible," said Gaus.

According to experts, in this way the authorities intend to legalize the smuggling flow.

Earlier, on May 13, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Russian military personnel destroyed a US-made HIMARS MLRS launcher in the area of the military district in the Sumy region.
