Two civilians and three ambulance personnel were injured as a result of drone attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Belgorod region. This was announced on May 13 by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

"In Shebekino, EW (a means of electronic warfare. — Ed.) the drone was suppressed. It detonated in the air. As a result, the man was injured. The victim independently applied to the Shebekinsky CRH. He has a mine explosion injury and a shrapnel wound to his right thigh," Gladkov wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to him, the victim will continue treatment in Belgorod city hospital No. 2.

It is reported that in the village of Shamino in the Shebekinsky district, a man suffered barotrauma as a result of a drone attack on a private house. Paramedics treated him on the spot, refused to be hospitalized, the publication says.

"Several enemy FPV drones attacked again. They were aiming at the fire brigade and paramedics. The crews worked under the cover of the Orlan group. One drone was shot down, the second was helped by electronic warfare, and the drone exploded next to an ambulance. The doctor, the paramedic and the driver received barotrauma. They will be sent to the regional clinical hospital for treatment," the governor added.

Earlier, on May 11, Gladkov reported that as a result of an attack by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) A civilian was injured in the attack on the Belgorod region. The governor clarified that a man was taken to the Tomarovsky district hospital in serious condition with barotrauma and multiple shrapnel wounds to his back, and he received the necessary medical care.
