Orban announced the operation of the Ukrainian special services against Hungary

The special services of Ukraine have launched an operation against Hungary, trying to disrupt a referendum among its residents on the country's accession to the European Union (EU). This was announced on May 13 by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
According to Orban, the purpose of Kiev's actions was to disrupt the vote on Ukraine's membership in the European Union.
"Ukraine has launched a coordinated smear campaign against Hungary in order to make our vote impossible," Orban said in a video message posted on Facebook (owned by Meta, which is recognized as extremist and banned in Russia).
The Prime Minister said that to implement the operation, the Ukrainian side used internal contacts in Hungary and received the support of a local opposition party, which allegedly participated in the attack on the country's defense forces.
"This has never happened in the memory of mankind. It should be expected that further operations will be carried out before the completion of the public opinion poll," Orban added.
However, the Prime Minister stressed that the Hungarian services are ready for provocations by the Ukrainian special services, noting that "neither Brussels nor Kiev can make decisions bypassing the Hungarians."
On May 12, Orban said that Ukraine's hasty admission to the EU would lead to a military conflict between all countries of the community and Russia. He noted that the association had never previously accepted countries that were in a state of hostilities.
On the same day, Orban said that the West's strategy of destroying Russia had failed. According to him, the West has failed to achieve its goals, despite all its efforts. He stressed that Western countries have been defeated in the conflict in Ukraine, although no one dares to officially admit it.
