During the May truce in honor of Victory Day, six people were killed and 23 others injured by attacks from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on May 13 in an interview with TASS by the Ambassador-at-large of the Russian Foreign Ministry on crimes of the Kiev regime Rodion Miroshnik.

"Residential buildings, medical vehicles, civilian vehicles, and commercial facilities were damaged by the VFU strikes. It was not possible to avoid civilian casualties," he said.

According to Miroshnik, the "most egregious" attacks by the Kiev regime were recorded in the Kursk region. He also added that in the village of Zvanoe, a man was the victim of fire from multiple rocket launchers (MLRS) HIMARS, and in the village of Glushkovo, a woman was killed as a result of an aerial bomb drop.

The day before, Miroshnik said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the territory of Russia on the May holidays, the Belgorod and Kursk regions became the epicenters. He clarified that during the shelling, the Ukrainian militants used almost the entire arsenal of weapons — from mortars to long-range missiles.
