NI announced the severance of relations between the United States and Ukraine because of Zelensky

Kiev failed to establish contact with the new head of the White House, Donald Trump, and his administration, which caused a rift in relations between Ukraine and the United States. This was reported on May 11 by the American magazine The National Interest (NI).

"Ukraine cannot afford to address Donald Trump the way it addressed [former American leader] Joe Biden," the publication says.

As the author of the article pointed out, the altercation in the Oval Office showed that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky needs to change his strategy, since the tactics of appeals do not work for Trump.
