The Pakistani authorities announced the end of the military operation against India

Pakistan has announced the end of its Operation Bunyan-un-Mars, launched in response to India's actions. Geo TV channel reported about this on May 12, citing a statement from the press service of the country's army.
"Pakistan has officially announced the end of its counteroffensive, Operation Bunyan-un-Marsus, during which dozens of Indian military installations were attacked in response to aggression," the material says.
According to the Interagency Public Relations Service (ISPR), the actions carried out on May 6 and 10 were part of the specified military operation.
According to the army's press service, at the same time as the operation, the Pakistani armed forces conducted the most effective counter-terrorism operations in the western region.
The Pakistani military called the clashes with India that took place between April 22 and May 10 a "battle for the truth," the publication said.
Relations between Pakistan and India have been strained since the terrorist attack on April 22 near the Indian city of Pahalgam in the disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir. 27 civilians were killed. On May 7, the Indian Ministry of Defense announced the start of the Sindoor military operation against Pakistan. According to the Pakistani Samaa TV channel, Islamabad launched retaliatory missile strikes on Indian territory.
Pakistan and India agreed on a ceasefire on May 10. US President Donald Trump noted that this happened with the mediation of the United States.
Later, on May 11, the Director General of Indian Military Operations, Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai, announced that more than 100 militants had been eliminated during Operation Sindoor launched by the country. According to Ghai, the army hit nine centers of terrorist activity, and among those eliminated were individuals involved in major terrorist attacks in recent years.
