The average price of a new car in Russia has been named

The average price of a new car in Russia in April was 2.95 million rubles. Avito Auto experts told Izvestia about this on May 12. Interest in new passenger cars from users of the platform increased by 22.4% compared to the same period last year.

Most often, users were interested in Lada Granta cars (an average of 1.1 million rubles), Haval Jolion (2.58 million rubles), Lada Vesta (1.77 million rubles) and two Chery models: Tiggo 7 Pro Max (2.86 million rubles) and Tiggo 4 Pro (2.1 million rubles). The top ten also includes Jetour Dashing, Moskvich 3, Chery Tiggo 4, Omoda C5 and Lada Vesta Cross.

The most popular brands in April included Lada (21.3% of the interest in new cars), Chery (10.1%), Haval (9.8%), Geely (5.2%) and Changan (4.6%). At the same time, interest in Chery and Haval cars increased by 79.8% and 72.9%, respectively, compared to April last year.

The number of ads on the platform increased by 56% compared to April 2024. Lada cars were most often sold there (18.5% of the supply for new cars), and there were 1.9 times more ads for the sale of cars of this brand — this is the maximum increase among brands. The top five also included Chery, Geely, Haval and Changan. Among the models, the most ads were for Lada Granta, Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max, Omoda C5, Haval Jolion and Lada Vesta. Compared to April 2024, the number of ads for the sale of the Vesta Cross has increased most noticeably - by 3.3 times.

On May 7, it became known that by the end of April, 102.1 thousand new passenger cars were sold in Russia, which is 25.5% less than in the same month last year. Haval Jolion became the Russian market leader in the crossover and SUV segment in April.
