The contradictory positions of the United States are one of the most serious problems in the negotiations on Iran's nuclear program. This was announced on May 11 by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic, Abbas Araqchi.

"The Americans are taking contradictory positions in the negotiations. This is one of the most serious problems of the negotiation process," he told IRIB TV channel.

The minister added that uranium enrichment is an achievement and the pride of Iran, which the country is not going to give up.

Araqchi noted that Iran takes a well-known position and adheres to a straight line in negotiations. It is noted that the Iranian Foreign Minister went to Muscat to hold indirect talks with the United States on the nuclear dossier.

On May 9, Araqchi announced that the fourth round of negotiations on Tehran's nuclear program between the United States and Iran would be held on May 11. According to Araqchi, the resolution of the nuclear program issue is progressing. He added that the further the parties go, the more consultations they will need.

The first round of negotiations was held on April 12 in Oman, the second on April 19 in Rome, and the third round was held again in Oman on April 26. The fourth round was scheduled to take place in Rome on May 3, but according to the Omani Foreign Minister, the talks were postponed to another day due to logistical problems.
