Peskov pointed out the need for serious negotiations to find peace in Ukraine.

Serious negotiations are the only way to ensure sustainable peace in Ukraine. This was announced on May 11 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
"Sustainable peace can only be found through serious negotiations," the official said during a conversation with reporters, answering a question about the possibility of achieving peace through negotiations in Turkey.
In addition, Peskov noted that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had not shown willingness to negotiate, and Kiev had violated the ceasefire regime many times.
"Many Muscovites, many guests of our city witnessed the violation of the ceasefire. Drone attacks, closed airports and the threat of air traffic," Peskov said.
On May 10, Peskov announced that Russia was open to dialogue to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. In addition, he clarified that Moscow would consider a proposal for a 30-day ceasefire in Ukraine.
