In the Nizhny Novgorod region, a man died in a fire in an apartment building.

In the Kstovsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod region, a man died as a result of a fire in an apartment building. This was reported on May 10 in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the region.

"This evening, a report was received about a fire in an apartment building in the village of Bolshoe Mokroye. <...> Unfortunately, a man died (identity is being established)," the department said in a Telegram channel.

It is specified that the fire occurred on an area of 30 square meters. m. 17 specialists and five pieces of equipment participated in the elimination of the fire. The cause of the fire was a violation of the rules for the use of electrical equipment.

On May 2, a fire broke out in a partially resettled apartment building in Primorye, in which a pensioner died. It was clarified that the fire was extinguished on an area of 300 sq. m. Upon the arrival of firefighters, the roof of the house and two apartments were on fire.
