The European Union will soon realize that it will not be possible to resolve the Ukrainian conflict with the help of military and economic forces. This was stated on May 10 by Lubos Blaga, a member of the European Parliament (EP) from Slovakia.

"I think that yes, after a few more months of such loud speeches, Russophobia and all this hatred, European leaders should face the facts, study the situation on the ground, in Ukraine and recognize that this conflict cannot be resolved on the battlefield," he told TASS.

Blaga stressed that the EU must negotiate with Russia to find a peaceful solution. According to him, this should happen very soon.

The parliamentarian also stressed that despite the strong statements of the EU countries, they do not have enough economic and military forces to continue supporting Ukraine for a long time. If the US decides to withdraw from it, the EU will not be able to continue the escalation.

On May 10, NBC reported that the United States, Europe and Ukraine have developed a plan that outlines 22 conditions for resolving the Ukrainian conflict. It was noted that the plan would meet one of Russia's key requirements.: The United States will not support Ukraine's accession to NATO.
