Russia is open to dialogue to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. This was announced by the press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov to CNN.

"Russia is quite resistant to any pressure. We are open to dialogue, we are open to attempts at a settlement in Ukraine. <...> At the same time, we need to understand that it is useless to put pressure on us," Peskov said.

In addition, he added that European countries continue to "openly oppose" the Russian Federation, despite the fact that Russia has its own position on the issue of the truce. The Russian leader's spokesman also noted that Moscow appreciates the efforts of US President Donald Trump in an effort to resolve the conflict. The Kremlin's official representative indicated that Moscow would consider a proposal for a 30-day ceasefire in Ukraine, a new development.

Earlier in the day, the Kremlin's official representative announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin was ready for dialogue with foreign leaders who themselves were interested in this. In addition, he stressed that contradictory statements are being made by European countries that are not aimed at resuming relations and "are rather more confrontational in nature."
