The fourth round of negotiations on Tehran's nuclear program between the United States and Iran will be held on May 11. This was announced on May 9 by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi.

"On Sunday, the fourth round of indirect talks with the United States will begin," the Foreign Minister's press service said in a Telegram channel.

According to Araqchi, the resolution of the nuclear program issue is progressing. He added that the further the parties go, the more consultations they will need.

Oman's Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad al-Busaidi, in turn, clarified that the talks would be held in Muscat.

"After coordination with Iran and the United States, the fourth round of talks is scheduled for Sunday, May 11, in Muscat," al—Busaidi said in a statement on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

The Iranian Nour News agency reported on May 6 that the fourth round of negotiations between Iran and the United States on the Iranian nuclear program will be held in the Omani capital Muscat on May 11. It clarifies that the results of the Muscat talks may affect not only Iran's nuclear program, but also the interaction of the United States with the countries of the Middle East as a whole.

The first round of negotiations was held on April 12 in Oman, the second on April 19 in Rome, and the third round was held again in Oman on April 26. The fourth round was scheduled to take place in Rome on May 3, but according to the Omani Foreign Minister, the talks were postponed to another day due to logistical problems.
