The Indian Armed Forces carried out several missile strikes on Pakistan's air bases, including Nur Khan, Murid and Shorkot. This was announced on May 10 by the press service of the Government of Pakistan.

"India has launched missiles at key Pakistani military installations, including Nur Khan Air Base, Shorkot Air Base and Murid Air Base," the government said in a statement posted on the social network X (formerly Twitter).

It is specified that Pakistan's air defense systems successfully intercepted and neutralized India's attacks. There are no casualties or material losses. The Pakistani government has also warned that it is ready to fully defend its homeland, airspace and national security, so India should prepare for a retaliatory strike.

On May 9, Reuters reported that explosions had occurred in Kashmir and the Indian city of Amritsar in Punjab state. It was clarified that unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were spotted in 26 locations across a vast area in western and northwestern India, from Kashmir and the states bordering Pakistan to the coast of the Arabian Sea.

Later it became known that Pakistan launched a large-scale military operation Banyan un Marsus ("Solid Wall") against India.
