In April 2025, Lada Granta became the leader of the Russian car market. This is stated in the message of the analytical agency Autostat, which was received by Izvestia on May 7. In the middle of spring, almost 13 thousand Granta family cars (including those produced on its basis) were sold in Russia, which is 33.2% less than a year ago.

Lada Vesta is in second place in sales (7.1 thousand; -46.5%). The Chinese Haval Jolion crossover remained the best-selling foreign car in the country, which sold 5.2 thousand copies (-9.7%) in April.

This is followed by the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max (4.2 thousand units; -5.7%), as well as two VAZ SUVs — Lada Niva Travel (3.1 thousand units; -38%) and Niva Legend (2.9 thousand units; -34.7%). The top ten also included Geely Monjaro (2.7 thousand units; -17.9%), Belgee X50 (2.7 thousand units; -10%), Haval M6 (2.6 thousand units; -19.4%) and Lada Largus (2.3 thousand units; an increase of 51 times).

"If we look at the dynamics following the results of four months, then all the listed models turn out to be in the red, except Lada Largus, whose sales at a low base increased 51 times. The rest have a decline, and Geely Monjaro has the strongest decline — about twice," the analysts noted.
