Employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations eliminated a fire in the center of Moscow. This was reported on May 5 in the Main Metropolitan Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation.
It is specified that the fire occurred in Pevchesky Lane, affecting the ventilation duct and the veranda of a two-story building.
"Before the arrival of the fire and rescue units, about 30 people left the premises on their own," the department's Telegram channel says.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, there was no information about the victims. 29 specialists, as well as seven pieces of equipment of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, took part in the elimination of the fire.
On May 4, a fire broke out in an apartment building in Moscow. According to the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the capital, the fire occurred in two apartments on the eighth and ninth floors of a building on General Tyulenev Street. Two people were killed in the incident. Currently, open gorenje has been eliminated. Tents were set up for the evacuated citizens from the burning house.
