Moscow predicts warm weather and short-term rains on May 4


Warm weather up to +19 degrees is expected in Moscow on May 4, and short-term precipitation is also possible. This was stated by Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Phobos Weather Center.
"Today, the capital will be influenced by the warm sector of the cyclone, the center of which will enter the territory of Belarus in the middle of the day. This will help the sun's rays actively warm up the air masses, making today the warmest day of the past week," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
The wind will be southwesterly in the afternoon. Its speed will be 4-9 m/s. Gusty winds are expected in the afternoon.
It will get colder in the evening. It is specified that due to the approach of a cold atmospheric front, clouds will arrive, which will bring short-term rains. Showers are also possible in some places. Thunderstorms are expected in the southern and eastern regions of the region.
Earlier, on May 3, the metropolitan complex of urban economy warned that from May 3 to May 5, the wind is expected to increase to 17 m/s in Moscow. The agency advised not to hide under the trees.
