- Orban pointed to the imminent bankruptcy of Europe with the continued support of Ukraine

The policy of the European Union (EU) aimed at supporting Ukraine will soon bankrupt the countries of the continent. This was announced on May 2 by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban on Radio Kossuth.
According to him, the European economy is in a state of stagnation and the EU states would not have such problems if it were not for the funds sent to Kiev.
"The money they want to spend there can be used at home. Our money is imported to Ukraine in wheelbarrows," the Hungarian prime minister said, adding that the EU economy will experience difficulties until the Ukrainian conflict is resolved.
At the same time, Ukraine's membership in the European Union will also lead to the bankruptcy of Hungary's economy, Orban stressed.
"Ukraine's membership in the EU should not be allowed. The most important thing is to remain firm on the issue of Ukraine and not give up on our own goals," he concluded.
On April 25, Orban said that the EU countries are not seeking to end the conflict in Ukraine, despite the peaceful settlement initiatives of the United States. According to him, the Hungarian opposition in Brussels wants Budapest to contribute $125 million for military aid to Kiev.
