In Berlin, two people were injured in an attack on a May Day demonstration. This was reported by the Bild newspaper on May 1.

"One person was stabbed, the other was reportedly wounded by at least one firearm. There should be no danger to life," the publication clarifies.

Alarms were sent to the police and emergency services at 20:00 (21:00 Moscow time). According to preliminary data, the attackers opened fire from vehicles. After the incident, the police put the Golf and Audi cars on the wanted list.

Subsequently, the guards reported on the detention of two suspects.

"Shortly after it became known about the attack, the police announced two arrests. It is unclear exactly where the suspects were arrested. The same applies to the motive of the attack," the newspaper reports.

Earlier, on February 13, in the central district of Munich, a gray Mini Cooper crashed at high speed into participants in a strike organized by the Verdi trade union. At least 28 people were injured in the collision, some were hospitalized with serious injuries. The police detained the suspected driver, who turned out to be a young Afghan citizen, according to Bild. Markus Zeder, the Prime Minister of Bavaria and leader of the Christian Social Union, did not rule out that the hit-and-run incident could be a terrorist attack.
