Putin awarded violinist Vladimir Spivakov the title of Hero of Labor of the Russian Federation

Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded Russian violinist and conductor, People's Artist of the USSR, President of the Moscow International House of Music Vladimir Spivakov the title Hero of Labor of the Russian Federation. The decree was published on May 1 on the portal of legal acts.

It is specified that the title was awarded "for special labor services to the state and the people."

"Decree of the President of the Russian Federation on awarding state awards of the Russian Federation for special labor services to the state and the people to award the title Hero of Labor of the Russian Federation <...> to Vladimir Teodorovich Spivakov, President of the Moscow International House of Music State Budgetary Cultural Institution," the document says.
