The European Union plans to provide the United States with a document next week outlining a package of proposals for the start of trade negotiations with the administration of US President Donald Trump. This was announced on Wednesday, April 30, according to Bloomberg.

According to the sources, the document will propose measures to reduce trade and non-tariff barriers, increase European investment in the United States, cooperate in solving global problems, as well as purchase American goods, including liquefied natural gas (LNG) and technology.

However, plans may still change as the European Commission, the EU's executive body dealing with the bloc's trade issues, continues to consult with the union's member states.

On April 27, US President Donald Trump announced that the income tax for US citizens could be reduced or completely abolished after the start of US duties.

At the same time, Trump said that the United States could conclude trade agreements with all countries, including China and the European Union (EU), but only on fair terms for Washington.
