Indian and Pakistani military personnel discussed violations of the ceasefire regime on the border of the two states. This was announced by Rediff on April 30.

"The Directors General of Military Operations of India and Pakistan held a hotline yesterday to discuss unjustified violations of the ceasefire by Pakistan," the publication says.

It clarifies that the country's troops opened fire along the line of control and the international border, which caused the Indian forces to "take effective response measures."

Relations between New Delhi and Islamabad worsened after the terrorist attack on April 22 near the Indian city of Pahalgam in the disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir, which killed 27 civilians. Both countries have closed the only common open land border and suspended visas. New Delhi has also suspended the Indus Waters Treaty.

On Tuesday, April 29, Pakistani Information Minister Attaullah Tarar announced India's intention to launch military attacks on the country within 24-36 hours. According to him, any act of aggression will be met with a decisive blow.
