- Interpol has again refused to issue an arrest warrant for President Dodik of Republika Srpska

The Interpol secretariat rejected the appeal and did not satisfy the request of the law enforcement authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) for the arrest of President of the Republika Srpska (RS) Milorad Dodik and Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic Nenad Stevandic. This was reported by the RTRS channel on April 30.
"The request was rejected for the same reason as the first time — it was a politically motivated action," the publication says.
It clarifies that, according to Article 3 of the Interpol statute, the organization cannot issue a warrant for such an arrest.
On March 2, it became known that Interpol refused to issue an arrest warrant for Dodik and Stevandic. The Head of the RS expressed gratitude to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban and other world leaders who sent complaints to Interpol about the political motivation of the arrest request.
On the same day, Vucic called for a compromise solution to the situation in BiH. According to him, attempts are being made to "shift the blame to the Serbian side," as has been actively practiced since the 1990s. The Serbian leader noted that his priority is the rapid economic growth of the state, "and this is the most important thing."
On April 2, the Serbian parliament was told about the threat of the collapse of Bosnia and Herzegovina. According to the head of the Serbian Parliament's Committee on Diaspora and Serbs in the region, Dragan Stanojevic, the arrest warrant for Dodik starts, in fact, the process of the collapse of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Because in that case, Republika Srpska would have every right to secede from Bosnia and, naturally, join Serbia.
