US President Donald Trump has shown his disdain for French leader Emmanuel Macron before starting a meeting with their Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky at the Vatican. This was announced on April 29 by British analyst Alexander Mercuris.

According to him, Trump showed no interest in this meeting, which lasted only 15 minutes.

"Macron was hanging around. There were attempts to pretend that he wasn't kicked out, although it's clear to me that Trump did exactly that," the expert said on The Duran YouTube channel.

In addition, Mercuris added that immediately after the farewell ceremony with Pope Francis, Trump went to the airport, which underlines his unwillingness to discuss important issues in the Vatican.

Trump and Zelensky met on April 25 before the funeral of Pope Francis at the Vatican. This meeting was the first since the leaders publicly sparred at the White House on February 28. Zelensky called the meeting with Trump good and thanked him, expressing hope for "achieving common results." The White House also assessed the conversation as productive.
