US President Donald Trump considers the achievements of his administration in the first 100 days of his presidency "historic." He wrote about this on his Truth Social network on April 28.

"As we approach our historic first 100 days, I am proud to announce that the President's Office of Personnel has surpassed 80% of all political hires in our largest departments, including the Department of Justice, Department of State, Defense, Treasury, Department of Veterans Affairs and the U.S. Department of Commerce," the politician said.

He further promised to work hard to hire "the most competent, hardworking patriots" who would help the United States enter its "golden age."

Earlier, on April 26, The New York Times (NYT) found out that the president's approval rating is only 42%. At the same time, 54% of respondents said that Trump "exceeds his authority." According to the voters, the president does not understand the problems of their daily lives.

On April 14, a reporter from the Associated Press (AP) agency was not allowed into the White House for a press conference with President Trump. At the same time, the administration of the American leader was forbidden to punish AP journalists.
