On April 27, the Tula Regional Duma signed interparliamentary agreements on cooperation with the People's Councils of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics (DPR, LPR).

"The agreement will allow us to step up joint work with colleagues from the DPR and the LPR to develop the legislative framework and integrate new regions into the general legal system of the Russian Federation," said Andrei Dubrovsky, Chairman of the Tula Regional Duma.

He clarified that the region continues to rebuild Mariupol, and noted that sports facilities and kindergartens have recently been opened in the city. According to him, these issues are personally controlled by the governor of the Tula region Dmitry Milyaev.

Konstantin Kuzmin, Chairman of the People's Council of the DPR, said that inter-parliamentary relations are important for improving people's lives. In turn, Chairman of the People's Council of the LPR Denis Miroshnichenko noted the expansion of the boundaries of this cooperation.

"We are confident that the parliamentary experience that we have in the framework of the special operation, in the stressful situations in which we found ourselves, and the experience when we respond to completely new requests, I am sure, will be useful to colleagues from other subjects," he stressed.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, at a meeting with the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin on February 10, urged not to resettle residents of Mariupol, whose houses were damaged as a result of attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), far from their usual areas. According to Pushilin, this issue remains in the focus of the authorities' attention.
