Pakistan has reported no plans to launch military operations against India.

Pakistan has no plans to start a military conflict against India without escalation. This was announced on April 27 by Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif.
"We have no intention of initiating any action, however, if there is any action, then there will be a reaction, and the reaction will correspond to the action. Therefore, I think this clarifies the situation: we don't want to escalate the situation or initiate anything," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
Asif added that India would face a "more than proportional response" if it attempted to invade Pakistan or attack the country.
Relations between New Delhi and Islamabad worsened after the terrorist attack on April 22 near the Indian city of Pahalgam in the disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir, which killed 27 civilians. Both countries have closed the only common open land border and suspended visas. New Delhi has also suspended the Indus Waters Treaty.
According to NDTV, on April 24, Indian soldiers recorded small arms fire at border posts from Pakistan. Two days later, on April 26, it became known about a new exchange of fire on the border line in the Kashmir Valley between the Indian and Pakistani militaries. It was clarified that the Pakistani military was put on high alert after the Indian authorities announced the persecution of the terrorists who staged the shooting in Pahalgam.
