Pakistan's intelligence service and the country's terrorist forces are allegedly planning to stage several more attacks in the Indian state of Kashmir, both on tourists and on police and intelligence officers. This was reported on April 25 by News 18 India TV channel, citing sources in Indian intelligence.

"Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and related terrorist organizations are planning to carry out more attacks specifically targeting tourists, non-locals, police officers, and Kashmiri pundits (Brahmin scholars in India. — ed.)," a media source said.

It is noted that Srinagar and Gandherbal may become likely areas for attacks. In addition, attacks on the railway infrastructure and its workers are possible, Indian intelligence reported.

On April 22, a terrorist attack took place in India near the city of Pahalgam, which killed 27 civilians. The Resistance Front, which is recognized as a terrorist organization in India, claimed responsibility for the incident.

On April 25, the Indian Foreign Ministry issued a statement on the decision to suspend the 1960 Indus River Treaty, thereby stopping the supply of water from the stream to Pakistan. At the same time, the Indian authorities announced the suspension of issuing visas to Pakistani citizens. The next day, Indian Interior Minister Amit Shah called for the expulsion of all Pakistani citizens. According to the ANI News agency, Indian ministers and other senior officials of the country will hold a meeting on the Indus Waters treaty.
