The Russian government will allocate additional funds in the amount of more than 1.3 billion rubles to support residents of the Kursk region. This was announced on April 24 by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

According to him, the Russian government continues to provide assistance to the Kursk region. He added that we are talking about residents who were forced to leave their homes and are now renting housing.

In addition, the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation noted that such large expenses are a serious burden on the family budget.

"To compensate for these expenses, we will send an additional 1.3 billion rubles to the Kursk region. I ask the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Construction to bring the funds to the region as soon as possible so that all those to whom they are intended receive appropriate payments," Mishustin said.

On April 1, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the Russian government to develop a program to restore the infrastructure of the Kursk region by July 1. Putin also called for a monthly payment of 65,000 rubles by April 10 for citizens who have lost their homes and other property as a result of the actions of Ukrainian militants in the region.
