Erdogan said there was no problem after the earthquake in Istanbul


There is no problematic situation after a series of earthquakes in Istanbul. This was announced on April 23 by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
"We are following the process very closely. There are no problems at the moment," CNN Turk quoted the Turkish president as saying.
The Turkish leader added that emergency services had been put on high alert.
On the same day, three earthquakes of magnitude up to 6.2 were reported in Turkey. The first 3.9-magnitude tremors were recorded at 12:13 p.m. (local time, coincides with Moscow time) off the coast of Istanbul's Silivri district. According to the channel, the depth of the earthquake was 6.99 km. Aftershocks followed the earthquake.
According to the governor's office, 151 people were injured in the tremors in the city, but there were no fatalities.
