The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia has prepared proposals on the criteria for the return of foreign companies to the country. This was announced on April 23 by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Vasily Osmakov on the sidelines of the Goszakaz exhibition forum

According to him, the basic criteria have already been announced by the leadership of the Russian Federation in the person of President Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov.

"We will simply carry them out and possibly detail everything," he told TASS.

Osmakov did not disclose the details.

On April 19, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to approve by May 15 a list of companies from unfriendly countries that ceased operations in Russia in 2022. It was clarified that the list would include information on the conditions for the termination or reduction of the activities of entrepreneurs, as well as on shareholders and beneficial owners.

On March 18, the head of state instructed to develop rules for the return of Western companies to Russia. According to him, firms wishing to return should offer competitive conditions.
